WardmanBrown were instructed by Natural Retreats to assist with the design and planning application for a 25 Bedroom Hotel, Holiday Cottages and a 840sq.m Surf Centre to include Training Rooms, Offices, Café and Surf Store. The brief was to create modern buildings to be constructed in a manner to reflect the surrounding area and in a style of timber lodges. With this in mind, the buildings were proposed to be constructed of Glulam frame with timber cladding and grass roofs. Planning approval was granted in 2014.
