The Brief was to modernise and extend a tired 1970s Bungalow in Welbury, Northallerton and the result we feel is amazing. Gaining planning permission was relatively straight forward and included a flat roof extension on the rear with a large roof lantern, replacing all external windows and doors with thermally efficient Aluminium in Dark Grey, with white Render and new Dark Grey Roof tiles really set it off. We included internal wall and loft insulation, replacement of the oil fired boiler with a full new heating system and underfloor heating run off an Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV on the roof. With a complete reshape internally, the property now provides 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Large Kitchen Diner, and spacious lounge. The result looks like a brand new house build!
