The original barn was used for Hay storage for many years.. Now the farmer has retired, their dream was to make this barn their retirment home. Under the permitted development rules, we were able to obtain planning consent to convert the building into a 3 bedroom dwelling. The external walls were originally block, so we had to insulate externally and then clad externally with new york stone, and the finish looks fantastic. The original large timber panelled doors have been replced with a feature curtain walling glazing at the front of the property which improves the appearance and provides individuality. Since completion, the farmer has retired into this property and is rather content!  See below the After and Before photos.
